Aluminum reinforced adhesive tape
This type of tape is a composite material and consists of the following materials: aluminum foil, glue, reinforcing material and siliconized paper as a separator (liner). Kraft paper or laminating with polyethylene is additionally used to increase the performance properties in the tape.
The tape is widely used in the “HVAC” systems industry (acronym for English: Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning - Heat Supply, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). It has excellent heat, moisture and reflective properties, which allows it to be used for sealing the joints of ventilation pipes, installation of air conditioning systems, vapor barrier, as well as protection of metal surfaces from corrosion, in the manufacture of household appliances, in the automotive industry, etc.
Recommendation for use
Before using adhesive tape, it is necessary to carry out preliminary testing in order to assess the suitability of the tape in specific conditions of use. Stick tape to a clean and dry surface.
