LSS – signal warning tape Do not dig, cable below
LSS – signal warning tape "Communication" is intended for identification of the communication cable laid in the ground. Pointing to the place of laying the cable, such a tape prevents the possibility of mechanical damage when performing earth-moving work.
LLC "Brandlenta" offers to buy the signal tape "Communication" for cable identification.
LSS characteristics and the procedure for its application
LSS – a bright orange tape with a black inscription "Do not dig, cable below".
The tape is made of dense, durable and resilient polyethylene, which is resistant to temperature changes, high humidity and aggressive environments. The material does not decompose, does not rot, and is environmentally friendly. The tape is perfectly visible when opening the ground, it does not lose its properties and color saturation over the years. The service life of the identification tape is at least 30 years.
The tape is available in 300 microns thick, 40, 50, 75 and 100 mm wide. LSS is supplied in rollers, the length of the tape on the roller is 250 meters.
At the request of the customer, in addition to the standard inscription "Do not dig, below the cable", the logo of the company that laid the cable, its contact details and other information can be applied to the tape.
The use of the signal tape "Svyaz" is stipulated by the "Rules for Electrical Installations for Cable Lines up to 220 kV". A warning tape must be installed above a cable placed in the ground. The tape is laid 15–25 cm above the cable. According to current regulations, the edges of the identification tape must extend 50 mm beyond the cable on each side.
LSS advantages
- The tape is visible from a long distance.
- The material of the tape is resistant to high humidity, temperature extremes, and has a good tensile and tensile strength.
- When laid underground, it does not change its properties for several decades.
- Does not require professional skills and special equipment for laying.
Signal tape is the most affordable, simple and effective way to attract attention and protect cable lines in the ground from possible damage.
