A very inexpensive gift can be unusual. To do this, you just need to present it beautifully. How to do it? A little imagination, a little time and the simplest materials.
We are used to gifts tied with a beautiful satin ribbon tied in the shape of a flower. Beautiful? Probably, but rather trite. Today, there are many inexpensive modern materials that make gift wrapping a real work of art.
Ribbon for gifts — the final touch to the design. And today, polypropylene ribbons have been added to traditional ribbons made of various fabrics, which, with skillful use, will create a festive atmosphere.
Many companies have long been using branded — adhesive tape with company logo. Carrying out any promotion, they use for packaging not only a ribbon with the company's brand name, but also with various inscriptions corresponding to the occasion: "Gift", "Promotion", "Happy New Year!" etc. Such branded ribbons for gifts draw attention to the company, that is, they serve as an additional advertising ploy.
Modern technologies make it possible to apply a variety of images and inscriptions to the packaging adhesive tape. It can be simple: "Happy Anniversary!", or it can be some kind of warm wish or a playful congratulation.
Production of a branded ribbon
For the manufacture, a polypropylene tape is usually used, on which an acrylic image is applied. Two different drawing methods are used: surfaceand interlayer. Both of them are printing on tape.
For a small amount of tape, the first method is used, and for large batches, interlayer printing is used.
With the surface method, the image is applied to the outer surface of the tape. Up to three colors can be used for surface printing, not counting the color of the ribbon itself. The resulting image is covered with a layer of protective varnish. This method is good for its short production time and low price, but the image on such a tape is not very durable.
When interlayer printing, the image is applied to a polypropylene base under a layer of glue. This is a more complex and lengthy operation, as well as more expensive. But the resulting image is not afraid of mechanical damage, does not fade and is not erased over time. In addition, this method of flexographic printing can produce high-resolution full-color images.
A cliche with a pattern for both printing options is made once, and then it can be used as many times as you like.
