Packing heavy loads
When packing heavy goods, special packaging materials are used that meet such important criteria as:
- tensile strength;
- resistance to significant mechanical stress;
- the convenience of use.
At the same time, an additional requirement is imposed on adhesives high adhesiveness. All these criteria are fully met by especially strong adhesive tapes for packaging heavy loads technical reinforced (TPL) and reinforced with fiberglass.
Both of these tapes have a highly adhesive rubber layer and a durable backing. The TPL tape uses fiberglass covered with a polyethylene layer, and in the reinforced tape, polypropylene is additionally reinforced with glass fibers.
Although such adhesives are capable of withstanding a fairly high tensile load, they are very convenient to work with in the transverse direction, they can be torn off by hand without any additional tools, and the use of a special dispenser allows you to automate the packaging work.
Heavy-duty belts can be used to pull together parts of the cargo (for example, reinforcement, cables, etc.), as well as to pack it in other materials.
